About Me:

My journey as a pianist started as soon as I was tall enough to reach the keys of the hundred-year-old upright in my childhood home. Always drawn to any opportunity to be creative or to entertain, I began lessons at age 6 and what started as one of many childhood activities, became a passion, and ultimately my purpose.

I began teaching kids not much younger than myself at age 13. Teaching was then and remains now the greatest learning experience and creative outlet in my musical career.

After many years of operating a busy private studio, I started feeling an itch to try something new. I’ve always had a passion for teaching adults and helping adult beginners achieve their goals, and learn to fit piano into their busy lives! Through working with my adult students, I realized just how difficult it was for them to sort through all of the information, tutorials, courses, and advice online… I knew that my “something new” needed to be sharing some of my tips and tricks on Youtube!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my Husband and our pets, crocheting, baking, playing chess (badly), and hiking!
